Question of the Day: Do You Wait for Games to Come to Your Favourite Platform?

If there’s a game you really want, will you buy it as soon as it’s out or wait until it comes to your platform of choice?

The Fullbright Company announced yesterday that their indie smash hit Gone Home will be released on consoles later this year. We don’t know which consoles yet but this will open up the game to a whole new audience who have never played the PC version.

It was also revealed last night that Deus Ex: The Fall will be releasing next week on PC (a week early) having previously been launched on iOS devices in 2013.

I’d be much more inclined to play these games on their new platforms but what about you? Do you rush out to buy a game you want on whatever platform its available or do you wait for it to come to a system you love?

Woo-hoo! I’m pretty attached to console gaming since I’ve never had a decent gaming computer. I’ve really wanted to play Gone Home, but I’m always apprehensive about buying PC games because my laptop is so shitty so this is good news for me.
